Garden of the Gods

This weekend, our little family headed south about 2.5 hours to check out Garden of the Gods, a park near Colorado Springs. We spent the afternoon admiring the beautiful red rock formations, and I’d highly suggest checking out GotG if you’re ever in Colorado! I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves…

Downtown Colorado Springs
We made a little pit stop to check out the Air Force Academy on the way–such a beautiful area!

We had a great time taking in all this beautiful scenery (despite a small, not pictured rainstorm) This is such a different landscape than what’s near our apartment, and I look forward to coming back here and doing some more exploring when we have some visitors in town. Stay tuned for more pics from the weekend (yes, we took even more pictures from this weekend, craziness!) Happy Tuesday everyone!

looks like you guys had a lot of fun! 🙂 When you come back you have to do the manitou incline, at least once just to say you did it. Also, hike in Glen Eyrie and go up the top of pikes peak on cog railway. Heck, just click travels on my blog and I have all the lnks to cool things in the springs!!
