This weekend, our little family headed south about 2.5 hours to check out Garden of the Gods, a park near Colorado Springs. We spent the afternoon admiring the beautiful red rock formations, and I’d highly suggest checking out GotG if you’re ever in Colorado! I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves…

We made a little pit stop to check out the Air Force Academy on the way–such a beautiful area!
                      We had a great time taking in all this beautiful scenery (despite a small, not pictured rainstorm) This is such a different landscape than what’s near our apartment, and I look forward to coming back here and doing some more exploring when we have some visitors in town.
