**Warning: this post contains some graphic images of chipmunk lovin’**
Happy Wednesday everyone! As you may notice, I’m making a few changes to In the Pink & Green! It’s definitely a work in progress, so pardon my dust until I get everything completed. What do you think so far? I was going to go with my same pink & green background from before, then I was going to go for a more simple white background, but I just loved this shabby chic peonies background, so I thought I’d give it a try. Also, I’ve only really updated the
Fitness tab so far, but I am hoping to finish the others by the end of the week, as well as getting up some pictures of our new apartment. Yay!
Anyway, on to today’s hump day post about chipmunk love. That’s right. Chipmunk love.
As I mentioned in my last post, Cam and I were fortunate enough to meet some new friends at church on Sunday, and they invited us to come hiking with them and watch the fireworks on 4th of July. We did a short hike from the Centennial Park Trailhead right near downtown Boulder, and were able to get a great spot on the beautiful red rocks overlooking CU’s campus where they were going to shoot the fireworks off. However, we had a little time to kill before it got dark, so we climbed up onto some higher rocks nearby. That’s when we saw this cute little chipmunk chase, and my hubby instantly went into National Geographic mode. Here are some of the (hilarious) pics of the little chipmunk mating dance we witnessed that he snapped with our new camera; I thought they seemed (in)appropriate for a Wednesday.
