Don’t look now, I’ve got another recipe post coming your way…
So I may have mentioned (more than a few times) how much I adore the blog Eat Live Run. Jenna always has the most interesting recipes, beautiful photos, and she’s definitely someone who I find inspiring both as a blogger and a person. (Please tell me that I’m not the only person who creepily has a blog crush slash wishes I could be friends with someone in real life based on their baking abilities? Because I know I’m not.) Anyhoo, she posted a recipe a few weeks ago for a slow-cooker Chicken Tikka Masala recipe and I was intrigued. I love using my slow-cooker, and Cam loves Indian food, so it seemed like a win-win.
Here is the link to her original recipe, along with her step-by-step photos of what to do. (Also, when I just typed out the phrase “step-by-step” the theme song for the show Step by Step just randomly popped into my head…you know the one I’m talking about, where the whole family is at that amusement park riding on that roller coster? Classic 90’s television right there…) The recipe is fairly easy to follow, and you know I love any dinner you can make in the crock-pot.
Not quite as pretty as hers, but the recipe came out as she said it would. Cam loved this dish and seriously ate like 3 plates full of it saying it’s one of the best dinners I’ve ever made. (That’s why I married him, his high praise for my cooking!) However, I forgot one little thing with making this recipe and that’s the fact that I don’t like Indian food. I want to like it, I really do. I just don’t, at least most the Indian food I’ve tried so far. I did eat a little of this dish and thought it was alright, just the spices aren’t my cup of tea. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great recipe and if you’re a person like my husband who enjoys Indian food, then definitely give it a try.
Anyway, I know I eluded to the fact last week that I have some big news to share.
Well TOMORROW I will be revealing this exciting announcement and you’re not going to want to miss it!
See ya then! Xoxo
