Our Christmas Card

Happy Tuesday friends!
I just wanted to take a moment and share our Christmas card with all of you! Mailing Christmas cards is one of my favorite holiday traditions each year. Even though everyone seems to know what everyone is up to via Facebook these days, there’s something so nice about getting holiday greetings in the mail from friends and family, especially photo cards. I mailed my cards last week, and I wanted to make sure everyone received them before posting but I think everyone should have gotten them by now! Here it is…

And then I used these address labels:

(that’s obviously not our address…duh)
This year, I ordered our cards from Shutterfly and I was so pleased with the results! For our past three Christmas cards (we sent out one as a Christmas save the date and the other two as Mr. & Mrs!) I used Tiny Prints, and while I really liked their cards, this year I wanted to change it up and see if there was anything else out there that was better. Back in the spring, I decided to send out an Easter card to our families with a picture of Lola and her bunny rabbit ears, and I ended up ordering that card from Shutterfly and it came out great. So when I saw last month that Shutterfly’s Christmas photo cards were 40% off, I was sold.
As far as choosing a design for the card, I selected about 5 designs that I liked and then I let Cam pick out which one was his favorite. We both loved the modern retro feel of this card, and while I was originally going to go with multiple photos on front, I decided to keep it simple and just go with one photo on the front and one on the back. This is the first year that I’ve put a message on the back of our cards; I’m not a huge fan of Christmas card form letters, but I figured since we are going to be moving oh so soon I wanted to make sure that all of our families and friends were up to date with what’s happening because not all of them read my blog! (Also, I realize it’s kind of hard to read the back of the card in the image above…basically it says everything you already know if you’ve been reading my blog for awhile–we started out the year in South Carolina, we moved to Colorado in July, and now we’re moving to Lake Tahoe in January…and scene)
So while I may not have all of your addresses to send you a physical card, I just wanted to let y’all know how much I appreciate each and every one of you that read my little blog, and I am really thankful for your sweet comments. I want to send my warmest Christmas wishes to you all (consider this like my bloggy Christmas card!) and I hope that you’re having a joyful holiday season thus far! Xoxo

PS: Yesterday’s cookies made it on foodgawker, yay!
