The Travel List

Happy Weekend Y’all!

Lately, I’ve been getting the itch to plan a trip…and not just a little weekend getaway, but an international journey to some faraway place. While our schedule isn’t going to allow for that this summer, Cam and I are hoping to take a vacation this fall and we’re currently in the prelimary planning stages. I’ve definitely got travel on the brain, and so I’ve noticed this list popping up on Facebook and few blogs I follow and I wanted to share it with you all in case you haven’t seen it yet! The Travel List Challenge has 100 “must-see” destinations from around the world and it seriously makes me want to pack my bags and jump on a plane! I’m hoping that Cam and I will be able to knock a few more places off this list before the end of 2012. Here’s the list, I’ve highlighted the places I’ve been so far, along with including some pretty photos of destinations that happened to be on my Pinterest Travel board

What places on this list have you visited? Where would you most like to go?

This weekend we’ve got plans to visit a place that’s not exactly exotic, the biggest little city in the world…that’s right, Reno! Definitely not super exciting, but Cam has to take an 8 hour licensing exam for engineering tomorrow in Reno, and he’s been studying for weeks. The crappy part? (Even crappier than the fact that he has to take an 8 hour exam that is…) He has to be there at 7:15AM! Ugh. And since we’re supposed to even more snow today than we got last night, he figured that it would be best to just go down to Reno tonight. Luckily one of our friends from college lives in Reno, and we’re going to stay with him tonight. I say we because Lola and I are tagging along; I figure if Cam has to go to Reno I might as well take it as my opportunity to venture back out into civilization because I literally haven’t left the house since last weekend. (#workingfromhomehermitproblems) I’m planning on hitting up a fitness studio to take a group class tomorrow morning and then hitting up the outlet malls! Then tomorrow night we’re going out for sushi to celebrate Cam finishing his exam and hopefully Sunday will be filled with skiing to make use of the new snow!<—(that’s me trying to be positive about the fact that we’re getting snow in April!)

Hope you have a wonderful weekend friends! Xoxo
