Happy Wednesday friends, we’re halfway through the week!
Today, I wanted to wish a happy birthday to my dear old (well not that old…) Dad! I so wish that I could be there in Michigan to celebrate with you! But even though we’re apart today, I’m really glad that we were able to spend time together in Tahoe recently. Looking back at pictures from my parents’ visit last month brings a smile to my face! I am so blessed to have a wonderful dad who has taught me so many things over my life. His sense of humor, cooking skills, and dedication to his family are just a few of the things that I really appreciate about him, and I hope that he has a fantastic day! Love you Dad!
And then I want to wish a happy early birthday to my Grandma! Her birthday is tomorrow, and I wish I could be there in Michigan to celebrate with her as well. She is in her 80’s and she is still just as sharp and spirited as ever! She is my Georgia peach who is the definition of Southern hospitality and generosity. She always has sweets waiting for me when I come over and because she’s a night owl like me I know I can call her anytime for a late night chat. I’m really looking forward to seeing her when we go to Michigan this summer! Happy Birthday Grandma, I love you!
I’m so blessed to have a wondeful family, and I just wanted to give my May birthdays a shoutout and let them know how much they are loved…and that your birthday cards might be a tad late. Whoops. That’s what happens when you live in wilderness where they don’t deliver mail.
Have a great day everyone! Xoxo
