Today is the day.
After what seems like an eternity, election day is finally here!
Living in a battleground state, I personally am so excited for the political ads that have been on TV nonstop to come to an end. After all these months of campaigning and debates, we’re finally going to know who will be our president for the next four years. So exciting!
However, I personally don’t care to use this blog as a forum to talk about my own political opinions.
I think that choosing who to vote for is a complex and very personal decision. I love that one of the freedoms we have in this nation is the ability
to be as private (or as open) with our political opinions as we’d like. I think it’s the responsibility of each individual to do their own research and make an informed decision on who to vote for.
However, what I do feel strongly about is that everyone should VOTE!
The ability to elect our leaders is such a privilege that should not be taken for granted. There are people all over the world that don’t have this freedom that so many here in the US don’t even bother to exercise. Throughout the history of this nation, people have fought hard to secure
this right for us today and I’m so thankful for that.
So no matter what your own personal political views are, please get out to the polls today!!
Cam and I actually voted last week because Nevada has early voting, so it was nice to be able to take advantage of that. We wanted to make sure that we got out to vote ahead of time because we found out late last week that we wouldn’t actually be home on election day…because we’re currently out in the Bay Area for the week!
But more on that later…Go Vote! Xoxo

I couldn't agree more – everyone should exercise their right to vote since so many people died fighting for that right 🙂 I absentee voted!

ps – I'll definitely have my guest post to you by Friday!

YES! These are the political posts I can stand behind. I hate when people try to push you into voting for their candidate, when really, we should just be encouraging people to vote. Get it girl.

We don't even live in NV but we get the NV feed via satellite and it has been SO annoying! I know far too much about Shelly Berkley and Dean Heller and I can't even vote for them!! Agh! 😉
