Uncle Cameron & Aunt Jane

One of the things that Cameron and I were really looking forward to about moving to Oregon was being able to be more present in the lives of our nieces and nephew. Kids change so quickly when they’re little and so it’s really exciting for us to get to see them on a more regular basis now. We’ve been able to spend quite a bit of time with two of our nieces over the past month, and we’re looking forward to seeing our other niece and nephew this upcoming weekend. Here’s what we’ve been up to…

Last month, our nieces were dedicated at their church and I was so happy we were able to be a part of it. Being there to support Cam’s brother and sister-in-law in committing their girls to the Lord was awesome, and the church had a really nice lunch for the families of the babies/kids being dedicated.

Sweet baby Selah 🙂
She is just too cute!
Getting a family picture with two small kids is not easy!
Unfortunately, we did not have much better luck!
This past Friday night, we went out to the fair near where Cameron’s brother and sister-in-law live. It was a fun evening, after all, nothing says summer like farm animals, fried food, and carnival rides!

I had to get a picture of Meara next to this little pink elephant since they were (sort of) matching 🙂
Pony rides!
There were lots of other animals at the fair…liked these sweet baby goats! So cute and tiny!
Goats can be kind of creepy…but I still want one. Ha.
Lots of sheep…
…and cows…
…and pigs!
Cam just loving being an uncle slash punching me in the ovaries. Ha.
She is such a doll!

It’s pretty much a rule that you have to get something fried at the fair, right?
Pretty sure this is the palest I’ve ever been in the summer #oregonproblems
Meara looked terrified on this ride but when she got off said she had fun and wanted to go again–ha!
Carousel riding…pretty sure I was having more fun than she was!
Uncle Cameron trying to win Meara a fish
Putting his college skills to good use 😉
End of the night…

Looking at these pictures, it makes me kind of sad that we only have a few more weeks of summer left! Here’s hoping that we can squeeze in a few more summer-y activities before fall hits! Xoxo
