Monday Tuesday everyone!
It’s hard to believe that summer is over, but I had an awesome long weekend! I’ll have more on that next week, but for now I’m enjoying being home in Michigan since Cameron and I are here until this upcoming weekend. In the meantime, I’ve got a few Portland posts to share with you this week!
Last month, we had brunch at place downtown that is a Portland institution. Veritable Quandary has been open since the 1970’s and they have a lovely outdoor patio, which is I wanted to make sure we went while it was still warm enough to sit outside. I had heard great things about their brunch and they were all true; the coffee was great, the dishes we tried were fantastic, and the patio was gorgeous!
|Cam ordered the Chilaquiles and the presentation was beautiful|
|I consider myself somewhat of an Eggs Benedict connoisseur, and VQ’s execution was perfect. The standouts were the homemade English muffin and the house-smoked pork loin–so good!|
Both the food and the ambience at Veritable Quandry were excellent, and it’s probably one of the best brunches we’ve tried anywhere. It is a little on the pricey side for Portland, but I think that it’s worth it considering how beautiful their patio is. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in Portland!
