Family Ski Day in Bend

This past weekend, Cam and I had the pleasure of getting to ski at Mt. Bachelor in Bend, Oregon! His brother and sister-in-law and our niece and nephew live out in Bend (which is about 3 hours east of Portland), but we hadn’t gone out there to visit them since we lived in Tahoe, so it’s was a lot of fun to take a little weekend getaway trip out there. We went skiing on Sunday, and the weather was absolutely perfect! It was warm and sunny and there were incredible views of the mountains everywhere you looked. Plus, it was so much fun to get to ski with our six year old niece – she is already amazing! I snapped a few photos from this perfect day of spring skiing…

We also had a lot of fun hanging out in the parking lot grilling for lunch.
Great way to enjoy the sunshine!

Rylan had enough of me – ha!
Definitely an awesome way to spend a day with family!

The rest of weekend prior to skiing was pretty low-key. Friday night, we went our to this awesome brewery for dinner – I’ll have more details on that tomorrow!
Saturday morning, we got to drive around a little bit and take in the views of the mountains…while Lola acted like her typical self 😉

Saturday afternoon, we took a walk to one of Bend’s many playgrounds.
One of the things that I love about Bend is that they have all these lovely walking paths everywhere – it’s a very family-friendly place!

Such a gorgeous day!
Finally, we spent plenty of time just hanging out at the house playing with the kids, which was a lot of fun. Lola sometimes gets a little confused over which toys are hers, but overall, she did pretty well with the kiddos too.

We had a great weekend, can’t wait for more Bend trips in the future!
