Mani Monday // Spring Brights

Happy Monday everyone!
First of all, thanks so much for all the kind words on our new house!
We are really excited about it, and so it was really fun to finally share the news.
We still have a long way to go in terms of unpacking and getting settled in, but I’m looking forward to sharing more about it over the next few months as things start to come together!

In the meantime, now that it’s May I figured it’s high time to do another Mani Monday, as I haven’t done one since March! I thought it would be fun to share some of the nail polishes from my collection that I’m currently loving. I feel like this is the time of year when it’s not quite summer and so I don’t want anything too neon yet, but at the same time, it’s nice to start to break away from some of the more pale pastels I was wearing earlier in the spring. These six shades are fun, vibrant, and perfect to wear right now!

Spring Brights

Top Row:
This is the color that made me want to try out Butter London polishes, it’s SO gorgeous! I saw someone post a picture of it on Instagram last summer and remembered the name, and so when Ulta had a 2 for 1 sale on Butter polishes, I figured it was the perfect chance to pick it up (along with a few other colors…whoops). This is the perfect salmon pink coral shade that’s bright but still very ladylike, and so pretty for the summer!
This is a really nice periwinkle color that I think is just so beautiful and extremely wearable. I feel like it’s a pretty popular Essie color, but I only recently bought it and I really love it. It’s kind of right in between being somewhat pastel and bright and just looks really cute on!

This is a gorgeous true red that doesn’t have an shimmer, and so it’s perfect for a really classic main or pedi. I really like wearing red on my toes in the summer, but this is a shade that’s totally appropriate year round.
Bottom Row:
This is a really bright coral watermelon strawberry red shade (if that makes sense, ha) that I picked up last year. I think it may have been part of the summer collection so I don’t know if it’s something that’s still available in stores, but it’s a really pretty shade if you can find it!

This nail polish is teal…which is kind of weird, but I actually really love it. It’s very pigmented and definitely makes a statement on your nails. The color is definitely more green than blue, but I think it’s really fun and different.
I know I talked about this in a previous Mani Monday, but it’s one of my all-time favorites. While the color Trout Pout that I featured above is much more of a pinky coral, Tart Deco is more of an orangey coral. It’s such a wearable color that’s definitely orange without being pumpkin orange – I love it!

So tell me, what nail polishes do I need to add to my collection? I’m always on the hunt for new colors!
