Family // Birthdays + Pumpkin Patch

October is a busy month for birthdays in Cam’s family, and this weekend, we spent some time celebrating together! This Saturday, we went to a birthday party for our niece Selah who just turned two. I feel like she was just a newborn but now she is getting so big and it’s fun to watch her grow!
Sweet sisters 🙂

At the party, we also got to see my sister-in-law, Ashley, and our nephew, Lucas. It’s crazy how much he’s changed in the past few weeks and Ashley looks awesome already for just having a baby.
(Also, I’m really tall…ha!)

Sunday was my sweet husband’s birthday, and so we spent the day at the pumpkin patch! His family always goes together every year (you can see last year’s post here) and it’s fun to keep the tradition going. We went to two different places, had really nice weather, and it was a fun afternoon 🙂

I want a little mini goat like this! Maybe some day…
Fresh cinnamon sugar donuts served warm (with apple cider) are the best!
It’s crazy that we’ll be a family of three for next year’s pumpkin patch trip!
I’ll gladly take snuggles with my sweet little nephew two days in a row!

Meara having fun on the train with Uncle Cam!

Alpacas are the silliest.
Cousin love 🙂

I forgot to get a group photo with everyone this year, whoops!
After the pumpkin patch, we came back to our house for cake and ice cream. Cam’s older brother, Brandon, has his birthday three days before Cam and so they usually celebrate together.
Brotherly love 🙂

I’m really glad that Cameron had a good birthday, and after the a busy past few weeks, it was nice just to do something low-key. I’ve always been thankful for my husband, but going through my pregnancy has made me even more appreciative of him as he’s been so supportive. I can’t wait to watch him become a dad this year, it’s hard to believe there are less than two months left!

Cute pumpkin patch! We went to a pumpkin-themed one year old's birthday last weekend and there was definitely a lot of pumpkin cuteness and plaid. And pumpkin chili! (Bean-free so it was even paleo!) Nice to see people enjoying the season!
