Although I’m sure it’s hard to believe, I have even MORE photos from my parents visit…after all they were here a week and we did a lot during their time here, including spending the day hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, which is about 50 minutes from mi casa:

We actually made another early morning visit to RMNP later in the week because Cam and my dad wanted to see if they could spot some elk. We left the house at 5:30am, and got to the park right around daybreak, drove around for awhile, then headed back for Cam to get to work. Apparently we saw a lot of elk? I was sleeping in the car for pretty much the entire trip (up until we stopped at this awesome donut place in Estes Park on the way back, go figure!), and I take no credit for any of these photos as they were all taken by Cam or my dad…but I wanted to put them up anyway because I think they are pretty cool!
We also took a tour of the New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins, which was a lot of fun! If you’re ever in FoCo, I’d highly suggest this tour as it’s very entertaining, you get to sample a lot of different beer, and you can’t beat the price (free!). I would make sure you make reservations ahead of time as the tour is very popular and they do book up in advance, especially on the weekends. It’s about 90 minutes long, but it actually goes by very quickly and like I said, lots of delicious beer. Good times.
We did some other (non-pictured) fun things as well including going to a Rockies game in Denver, touring the Celestial Seasons Tea Factory here in Boulder (two days of rain = two food tours), and enjoying many great meals. All in all, great visit with the rents, but now it’s back to reality. Aka work/working out/cooking/cleaning, all that good stuff. I hope that you’re all having a fabulous week! xoxo
