Happy Hump Day everyone!
Today, our sweet little Lola is three years old!
She has changed so much since we adopted her in December 2010 back when we were living in South Carolina! She was just a sad little runt then but she has grown into the sweetest, most loving dog…that still thinks she’s the same size as the 3lb puppy she was when we got her!
This was the picture on the Humane Society website when we went to foster Lola. She was missing a lot of her hair and had to wear a little sweater to keep warm, so pretty much the cutest thing ever. Her nose had pink splotches and she was honestly so pathetic-looking…but we fell in love with her!

Happy girl on our hike this weekend
In honor of her birthday, I thought I’d share a few of my favorite photos of our sweet Lola….
Bathroom creeper
Her favorite thing to do now that we live downtown is to sit in “her” chair and look out the window
She’s also still a big fan of sleeping…ha.
Loving the fall leaves

Hanging out with Cody at Cam’s parents’ house
Seriously, the coolest dog ever.
Classic.
This little houndstooth jacket? I dieeeeee.
So sweet.
She was seriously so teeny tiny when we got her, it’s crazy!
Lola is not perfect and there’s definitely some things that we still need to work on with her. Now that she’s three, we can’t blame her bad habits like jumping up on people on the fact that she’s a puppy as much anymore. But we honestly could not ask for a better, more loving dog. Working from home, she keeps me company all day and I don’t know what I would do without her. We love you Lola!
