Beauty // My Favorite Dry Shampoos

For as much as I love makeup, I’m really not a hair person.

I’ve had my hair long for my whole life, and the craziest thing I’ve ever done to it was get side bangs. I’ve never colored my hair before, it’s naturally pretty straight, and I just don’t do a lot too it. I go a long time between trims and it’s pretty low-maintenance overall. On most days, you’ll find it either down and messy or in a ponytail/top knot. It’s a big deal if I actually blow dry and straighten it, and if I’m really going to go all out, I curl it (which rarely happens). It is pretty oily though, and it’s definitely noticeable if I don’t wash it every day. However, that’s super annoying and pretty much never happens, so I need all the help I can get to make it last between washings.

So that’s why dry shampoo is my go-to hair product, especially in the summer! I use it every day that I don’t wash my hair and it makes a huge difference helping it look clean and fresh. I’ve tried a ton of different dry shampoos, both drugstore and high-end, and here are my three favorites:

Batiste “Wild” Dry Shampoo
This stuff has a really strong scent…but I like it because something about it reminds me of this perfume that I used to wear in college. It does come out in kind of a dramatic spray, but it does a good job of making your hair look fresher, plus it’s not too white. It comes in a bunch of other scents as well…I just happened to think that the leopard print was the cutest!
Big Sexy Hair Volumizing Dry Shampoo
This is probably my favorite dry shampoo that I’ve tried, and although it is a little pricey, I think it’s worth it. Unlike a lot of dry shampoos that make your hair feel really clean, this almost makes your hair feel more dirty? But that’s what helps to absorb the oil and it really makes your hair look cleaner. Plus, it’s very volumizing and helps give life to flat hair.
Not Your Mother’s Clean Freak Dry Shampoo
This stuff definitely makes your hair feel and look clean! It’s great for blonde hair and it helps to absorb oil (although not quite as well as the other two in my opinion). But it does a good job over all, plus it’s reasonably priced making it a great budget option.

All three shampoos can be found at Ulta, however, this isn’t a sponsored post – instead it’s just a few of my favorite products that I wanted to share!
