Happy Friday friends! I’m back with another post about
Feast!
This past Saturday night, I had the privilege of attending Feast’s fanciest event – High Comfort at the Nines Hotel! I was pretty tired from walking around the Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting earlier that day, but I rallied 🙂 This is definitely the event that people get dressed up for and so I was excited to check it out. High Comfort features some of the best chefs from Portland (as well as a few other cities) all putting their own innovative spin on comfort food. It pretty difficult to get good photos with the low lighting in the room, but here’s a little glimpse into the evening…
Had to get a quick bump shot – let’s just say it’s a good thing my dress was really stretchy!

There were tons of great wineries there…but I stuck to Pellegrino all night long 🙂

These green apple beignets were amazing!
These ‘Spanish Kisses’ were probably the most unique thing I tried – they were a deconstructed olive that was somehow put back together and exploded in your mouth. Hard to explain, but really good!
Although trying all the creative dishes at High Comfort was great, the what really made the night fun was all of my friends that were in attendance as well!
Last year for Feast, I had just moved to Portland and didn’t really know anyone; however, this year’s event was such an awesome representation of just how far I’ve come in the past year! Not only has blogging allowed me to participate in some really awesome experiences (like Feast!) but I’ve also had the opportunity to meet some really fantastic ladies as well. I’m so thankful for all the friendships that I’ve made here in Portland over the past year, and High Comfort was such a fun celebration of that!
The bloggers here in Portland are definitely a fun group that I’m glad to be a part of!
Have a great weekend everyone!
