Feast Portland is just over ONE WEEK away and I’m getting SO EXCITED!
(Can you tell? Ha!)
(Can you tell? Ha!)
Last year, I had no idea what to expect. We had just moved to Portland and I applied for a Blogger Pass to attend Feast on a whim. However, it ended up being such a fantastic experience and couldn’t have been a more perfect introduction to the incredible food scene here.
However, if this is your first time attending Feast, looking at four-day schedule of events can be a little intimidating because there are so many to choose from! Last month, I highlighted a few of the events from this year’s schedule that really stuck out to me…and the good news is tickets are still available for all of them! (But if you’re interested, I’d suggest getting your tickets ASAP!)
Today, I wanted to highlight one of the events from my previous post and the event that ended up being my favorite from Feast last year – The Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting!
The Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting takes place both next Friday and Saturday in the heart of Portland in Pioneer Square. It features a wide variety of restaurants, wineries, craft brewers, and artisans from across Oregon showcasing delicious food, beer, and wine…and you get to try it all!
There are so many different things to sample and the best part is that the ticket to the Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting is unlimited, meaning you can literally try it all! And then you can go back and get seconds of the things you really like…which Cam and I definitely did last year 🙂
And when you need a break from eating and drinking, you can take a seat and watch one of the cooking demos! We ended up watching quite a few of these last year and they featured some great chefs. It was so much fun to see these chefs in action, they make it look so easy!

You can read more about my experience at last year’s Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting here, but I would highly recommend it to anyone! I know that some of the Feast tickets are fairly pricey (although keep in mind the money does go to support some amazing charities working to alleviate hunger in Oregon!) and so the Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting is a great way to really get the experience of Feast without breaking the bank. So basically if you’re on the fence about whether or not to attend an event for Feast this year, you need to go to the Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting – trust me on this! 🙂
