Happy Friday everyone! TGIF, amiright?
Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of going to see “Dreamgirls” at Portland Center Stage!
I saw the movie version of this musical back when the Beyonce one came out, but it had been quite awhile so I completely forgot just how great all the music for this show is. I love the Motown vibe of the songs, and PCS did a great job with all the fun costumes and colorful sets for their version.
I had the opportunity to attend a performance of Dreamgirls thanks so an event Rachel put together with PCS for some local bloggers, and I was mainly just looking forward to a fun night out with my friends as I figure I need to take advantage of doing things like this before the baby gets here!
However, I ended up being really blown away by the talented cast for this show! Seriously, every single person had such an incredible voice and I was extremely impressed by the casting!
