Hello, hello! First of all, thank you so much for all the birthday wishes on Monday – I had a really wonderful day! And in answer to the question that I’m sure some of you are wondering about…nope, no baby yet! My due date is tomorrow (eeek!) and although I definitely feel like my body is starting to make some progress, I’m still feeling pretty good overall and haven’t had any major labor signs so far. I do have an appointment with the midwife tomorrow though, so we’ll see!
In the meantime, since it’s December and the holiday season has “officially” started, I wanted to go ahead and share our Christmas card with all of you! I mentioned last month that I was planning on sending out cards prior to our son’s arrival, and I’m so glad I did! Sending (and receiving!) Christmas cards is one of my favorite holiday traditions that I really look forward to each year. It would have been way too rushed trying to send something out for Christmas (or even New Year’s) after our little guy gets here (whenever that may be…) and so I’m glad I just went ahead and mailed them out before. Plus, it was kind of nice to send one last card pre-baby and Lola was happy to be the center of attention for one final year 🙂 So without further adieu, here is the design we chose…

We used this design from Minted and I absolutely love how it turned out! (It’s a little hard to see in this post since the background of the card is white, but you get the idea!) The photos are from our maternity shoot that Kelsey did for us this fall, and I’m so glad we could use them! This was also my first year ordering one of their foil-pressed designs and I love the extra pop that this element adds to the card. Once again, I’m extremely pleased with how my cards from Minted turned out, I’d highly recommend them if you haven’t used them before!
