Hi there, I’m Jane!
I’m a stay-at-home mom living in beautiful Portland, Oregon and this is my little corner of the internet where I get to share, well, whatever I feel like! (Beyond what I’m already sharing on Instagram that is!) I’m married to my college sweetheart, Cameron, and we have two sweet little boys, Henry and Charlie, and a goofy dog named Lola. (But unfortunately she doesn’t make it into quite as many family photo sessions these days – ha!)
I originally started my blog with the name “In The Pink and Green” way back in 2010 when I was a newlywed as a way to keep our families up to date on our lives during our move from Michigan (where I was born and raised) to South Carolina for my husband’s job. Since then, I’ve documented our moves, our travels, having babies, and so much of our life here. I’ve so enjoyed having this space as a creative outlet and have made so many real life friendships thanks to being part of this online community. Although I’ve taken a little hiatus from blogging over the past year (because two kid life is no joke!), it’s made me realize that I really do love having my own little corner of the internet where I can come to and write so that’s why I decided to relaunch my site. So whether you’ve been reading ‘In The Pink & Green’ for years or you’re visiting my site for the first time, I really appreciate you being here!
So what else should you know about me? Simply put, I’m a Jesus follower who loves my family. I’m extroverted (I’m an ENFP and an Enneagram Type 7, if that means anything to you) and somewhat of an oversharer (and for that reason, a big fan of IG Stories). I’m pretty obsessed with living in Portland – we’ve got the mountains and the ocean close by and the food/coffee/beer/wine here is fantastic. (If I’m not posting pictures of my kids on Instagram, I’m probably posting pictures of one of those things because Portland is also a place where you can take photos of your food in a restaurant and no one judges you) Speaking of food, I try to cook Paleo(-ish) recipes at home, but have a major sweet tooth that I indulge way too often. I love getting outdoors and taking advantage of all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. I’m also a total girly girl who loves all things beauty and am a total product junkie. I love to travel and having kids hasn’t changed that at all. Finally, although I’m far from perfect at it, I am passionate about being a mom. I’m so incredibly thankful for the opportunity to experience the gift of motherhood, while also being eternally grateful for God’s abundant grace that covers where I fall short.
